IBPS PO Recruitment 2026 Notification Out For 6715 Posts, Apply Online

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the IBPS PO Recruitment 2026 Notification for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP PO/MT-XVI). Along with the notification, IBPS has also started the online registration process for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO)/Management Trainees (MT) in various participating public sector banks.

As per the official notification, a total of 6,715 vacancies have been announced. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official IBPS website.

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2026

The eligibility criteria required for the IBPS PO 2026 Exam in terms of educational degree, computer literacy, language proficiency, and age limit have been discussed below-

IBPS PO Recruitment 2026 Educational Qualification (as of 21/07/2026)

• A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of
  India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
• The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate stating that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

IBPS PO Recruitment 2026 Exam Pattern

IBPS introduced a separate sectional timing for each section in the preliminary exam. The IBPS PO exam (CRP XIV) for hiring candidates will be based on an online written exam in two parts: Tier 1 or IBPS Preliminary Exam and Tier 2 or IBPS Mains Exam. This examination is followed by a face-to-face interview process.

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS: There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
